In Search of Fortune: Nothing New

Welcome to ‘In Search of Fortune’, a monthly series where I discuss my gold goals and in-game money making strategies.

So, I may have missed a month in there somewhere. Unfortunately, it’s because it was a slow month… months. Really, isn’t the whole Shadowlands expansion a little slow, though? For me, not terribly slow in terms of gold making, I’m still hitting almost 600k per month in profit, just, well, nothing that different from the last post. There are a couple of things, though, that I wanted to highlight. So continue reading for some interesting examples flips from my mailbox and my TSM breakdown screen for the past 3 months.

Shadowlands Predictions Part 2: Patch 9.1

WoW’s Shadowlands patch 9.1 is coming up… soon? In this post, we’ll discuss the release date based on historical x.1 patch dates (remember how we were right about the Shadowlands release date, until they changed it), new legendaries (maybe), the new raid, our guess for tier sets in this patch, and more. Shadowlands Predictions Pt 1: The Great Vault, patch 9.1, our 2nd Legendary, and the Real Villains of SL.

This post is a content gamble. Either I provide the world a new means of bashing my stupid ideas or am proven a reliable source of speculation for future content. As the title says, in this post we’ll talk about some likely problems with the upcoming great vault (unrelated to my previous complaints about it), when I think 9.1 will release, when we’ll get a end legendary to equip and who the real villains of the expansion are.

Shadowlands Story Leveling Experience

The expansion is out and while end game tends to be the main focus of the game, leveling is still where it starts. How is the leveling experience this time around? In this post, I’ll talk about the introduction, the maw, each of the zones, and how long it took us, plus my overall opinion of it. Hint: It wasn’t terribly long, but it felt like it in some places.
