Raid: Shadow Legends

New Raid: Shadow Legends Youtube Channel

As some of you may know, we have a Alternate Image Gaming youtube channel that covers a variety of games. We’ve tackled World of Warcraft, Elyon, Escape from Tarkov and more. Currently we’re running a series called “Tarkov Talks” which is a sort of podcast over an EFT backdrop covering a variety of mostly gaming topics. While we’d prefer to keep the channel covering a complete variety, the youtube algorithm gets rather grumpy with too much of that and the channel isn’t big enough yet to support it.

As such, for some new AI Gaming content, we’re creating a new channel to cover exclusively Raid: Shadow Legends. This channel already has a few dungeon guides posted and will end up with guides, tips, teams and more for most every aspect of the game. This dedicated channel is not only to bring focused content on one game, but also becomes a test to see if that format strikes better with the youtube community. If so, you could likely see more AI channels branch off, most notably a World of Warcraft one. After the break here you can find embedded a couple of AI Raid videos to sample.

Obligatory New Year Post

So, those who follow this site may have noticed that there hasn’t been many updates in the last couple of months. This has been partially due to person obligations with the creators, but, and mostly, there’s been something feeling missing with games recently. We don’t want this to just be a beacon of negativity, but so many of the recent release that some or all of us were hopeful for (New World, Shadowlands and patches, Warzone, Battlefield 2042, Elyon) that would have yielded content would have ended up with posts like “Why This Game Sucks, Too”. With this demotivation, the website redesign is also a bit behind.

What is coming this year, after all?

It isn’t all doom and gloom. The redesign will come, along with a means of submitting guest posts for the site. Guest posting will give you the opportunity of creating some gaming content if you don’t already have a platform or provide a means of promoting your platform though backlinks on the post. The redesign should also make browsing for the type of content you want a little bit smoother.

And the Content?

You can expect games such as Lost Ark, Elden Ring, Warzone, Raid: Shadow Legends, World of Warcraft and more. We’ll be doing reviews, more “Is it Pay to Win“, editorials, and possibly could see the introduction of “Is it Toxic” – a new column we’ve been considering to gauge the toxicity of a game and it’s community. The youtube channel will likely see a video version of some of this, along with general gameplay footage – especially of any upcoming/bete access games.

Overall, we’re just hoping that 2022 can bring a little bit more quality to gaming and the companies that make the games we all play.

PVP Wildstar

Wildstar PVP: Practice Grounds Thoughts

So, I started to introduce this post by describing that I have, overall, mixed feelings about Wildstar PVP, then I realized it was two days later and I’ve spent all my time in battlegrounds. It gives a new perspective. Their system is, like pretty much every other system, flawed and I know I can be overly critical. But I have to accept that history speaks for itself and when I’m too busy PVPing to write about it, they must have done something right. Or I’m being mind controlled – in which case I still have to give props. Keep in mind, this isn’t from a max level perspective (yet), however I’ve done a good portion of my leveling from 10-30 in practice grounds.  Though, even with my newfound appreciation for this aspect of the game, there are good and bad sides.
