Welcome to ‘In Search of Fortune’, a monthly series where I discuss my gold goals and in-game money making strategies.
It’s been a lazy month in the gold making world for me. Missed a few days scanning and posting on the AH, no farming at all, barely any crafting and only a handful of callings completed. I’m just doing my AH flips and the covenant mission table – still up almost 400k in the last month. I did notice a few things I wanted to point out that leads to this pretty casual gold making from someone being very casual with WoW currently
First, the last months numbers. Turbo-Charged Flying Machine was my big flip. Also, spent a bit on on the magnificent hides for leather working crafts. Finally, I had snatched like 80 tomes of the clear minds for slivers each and sold them at normal prices.
This image shows the value that those magnificent hides provided. I paid ~200 per hide (less, if you count the daily to make them). I think I spent 20k in total on hides and made a couple dozen items. Just those 3 sales make ~8k profit and the rest of the items are pure profit from here. Don’t undervalue old crafting. I really just do leatherworking with any regularity, I should do the rest as well.
Another thing I finally remembered to screen shot. I’m cycling about 3,000,000 worth of posts every day or 2. I always make sure to have at least 1.5M on the AH at any given time. I run the post scan, send everything TSM doesn’t sell to an alt, and in 30 days those items come back on their own to be run through again. I also rotate items out in the bank, so there’s a semi random rotation between back and 30 day cycles to my mail alt. I probably have ~10-20M gold in items in this cycle at any given time. This does about 15k/day consistently (if I’m consistent in reposting) without ANY cancel scanning ever. Buy scan, sell scan, mailing, that’s it. The only thing is it can take a while and/or a lot of capital to to get that much value in stuff to cycle. One day I’ll make a very boring video about it.
That’s it for this month. Nothing terribly exiting again, but some very consistent gains. Do the mission tables for gold and runes. Run buy/post scans with TSM. Profit. The more old crafts you add the better.
