Blizzcon 2015: Warcraft Movie and Legion Expansion Trailers

See the Warcraft Movie official trailer below. It’s pretty epic. Or should I say… legendary?

Continue after the break for the trailer for the new Warcraft expansion, Legion. Which, in my opinion is even more epic than the trailer for the movie. I would be very much okay if they just made full length CGI movies. Probably easier to do a bunch of crazy magic and monsters than mixing CGI and live action.

E3 2014: Some Favorite Day 1 Trailers

One of the games I’m most looking forward to is Destiny. It’s looked amazing in the past and looks no less amazing now. If only it came for the PC…

Nero… well, honestly I have no idea what’s going on. But this trailer looks very cool nonetheless. See it and the rest of them after the break. (more…)

Problem with Warlords Premise

warlords-of-draenor-1920x1200

I’ve been doing some thinking, some pondering, some soul-searching over the plot line of the new expansion… and I really don’t think I like what I know so far. In previous expansions, we fought incredibly powerful and epic enemies. In BC, we fought Illidan who was a massively powerful mage who dedicated his life to power and combat, was granted extra power by demons. He was the first of his kind – a demon hunter and was thousands of years old. We may or may not have been prepared. In WolLK, Arthas was a Paladin, who was effectively merged with a Shaman/Warlock, infused with demon power, given amazing gear and had the power over death. Come on. In Cataclysm, Deathwing was the freakin’ aspect of earth granted power by the titans and corrupted (and possibly empowered further) by old gods. In MoP… we got an orc who only a few years before was basically mopey kid in Outlands who couldn’t have fought off the average basic campfire. While the enemy in Warlords doesn’t seem to be quite as insignificant as Garrosh, I don’t expect the epicness of previous expansions. There will be spoilers below, continue at your own risk. Also, check out the end of the post for the Warlords trailer. (more…)

Patch 4.2: Firelands Raid and Dailies Preview!

¬†Blizzard, clearly wanting to keep us excited about patch content, just posted some trailers for the 4.2 patch include a preview of the Firelands raid and what they have titled “Patch 4.2 daily quest preview”. Could this be that Hyjal/firelands quest hub everyone has been waiting (but no longer needs the rep for because we’ve been exalted for months using tabards and dungeons) for? Check after the break for the other video.

Blizzards blog post with both vids can be found HERE. Still no release date for this content though.
